FACTOID:Nisie-Peanut-Butter-Cup is often seen with her nose to the wind saying "I think I smell water, where's my Speedo suit?"
As the most active and agressive cyclist in Utah, Nisie has captured the Utah Cycling Association Series Championship two years running. Prior to storming the Utah cycling scene, Nisie competed in swimming and cross country. In 1998, Nisie was returning from a mountain bike trip and was involved in a traumatic car accident which was nearly fatal. She broke her back, had compound fractures in her leg and several broken bones. The process of recovery was a long battle which mo- tivated Nisie and gave her the strength and commitment to training that she shows in cycling today. Nisie attended the University of Utah earning a degree in Civil Engineering in 2000. Following that she re- turned to school to become a secondary science teacher and earn a master’s degree in education.

FACTOID: Tiff's claim to fame is having never lost an indian leg wrestling match & hopes to return in her next life as Madonna!
Tiffany returned to cycling in 2005 after a hiatus required to obtain her
Degree in Law after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University
of Colorado with a major in geography and Italian minor. Tiff has a
wealth of experience racing in the 90’s with the “big guns” on the
National Circuit and as a member of the University of Colorado Cycling
Team. While at CU, Tiff was a member of the 1996 & 1998 National
Championship Team Time Trial squad. In addition to being the Women’s
captain, Tiff was the Rocky Mountain Conference Points Leader and the
Colorado State Time Trial Champion. Tiffany is a key player on the Ivory
Homes team, with great tactical sense combined with the ability to solo
away for a win in a road race or take a field sprint. Currently Tiffany resides outside of Ouray, CO where she practices at a real estate litigation
firm. In the fall, Tiff can be found tearing it up at Alta on her tele skis or
out at a cyclocross race putting her technical mountain bike skills to test.

Chantel was new to the team in 2007 and was integral to the success
of the team this season. We believe she will be the emerging climbing
talent we need. She is a key team player & possesses an incredibly
positive energy that transcends throughout the team. Rising through
the ranks from Category 5 to 3 in her first few races in 2006 & a cons-
istent & competitive workhorse in 2007. We look forward to working for
PB in 2008 to be our GC leader. Chantel has a strong athletic back-
ground: a Division 1 softball player at Southern Utah University, raced
mountain bikes since 1995, began racing triathlons in 2004 & entered &
finished her first Ironman triathlon in 2005 in Courdelane,ID. Chantel
has a Bachelor’s Degree in English & Sociology, a teaching certificate
from Southern Utah University, & a Master’s in Education from the Uni-
versity of Utah that she utilizes teaching high school students English.

Kelsey has been an elite level Triathlete, but is currently Cycling exclusively. She was the highest placing American woman (U23 division) at the 2003 (Queenstown, New Zealand) and 2004 (Madeira, Portugal) World Triathlon Championships and the 2004 World University Games (Palma de Mallorca, Spain). She was voted All American 5 years in a row. She lived and trained for 4 years at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and competed on the US National Select and U23 National Teams.
In 2001, Kelsey was also named the US Junior Duathlete of the year.

As a Carmichael Training Coach & prior president of the USU Cycling
Club, Darcie has been heavily involved in cycling & has established her-
self as an emerging talent in cycling and clearly one of Utah's top riders.
A well rounded rider with a time trialing and climbing ability that
makes her a contender in any stage race and a key player in the suc-
cess of the team. Darcie has been the guest rider for numerous 'big
name' teams and has received invitations to USA Cycling's Women's
Development and Talent Identification Camp and the Olympic Train-
ing Center in Colorado Springs, all clearly compliments to her talent.
Darcie has competed in NRC, State, Olympic Trials, USPRO Champion-
ships, NCCA Mountain Bike Championships, and endurance road &

Melissa became involved in endurance sports in 1996 while attending
the University of South Carolina. She obtained many top five finishes in
events ranging from 5k running races to half ironmans and adventure
races. After relocating to Salt Lake City in 2002, she continued to prove
herself as a talented triathlete and begun to gain recognition as a strong
CAT 4 cyclist with a tonne of potential. Melissa accumulated many im-
pressive results with numerous wins in triathlons & cycling races. At the
end of this 2007 season she upgraded to CAT 3 and we look forward to
her strength and agression to help the team for 2007/2008 season. |

Karen is an all-around Category 1 cyclist who has competed in the Utah
Cycling Association for the past six years as well as a handful of inter-national and national calendar events. Karen juggles a busy schedule
walking her dog, Abby, training for cycling & triathlons and being a full
time mom to eleven year old Jake. Over the past several years, Karen
has competed in the HP Women's Challenge, Tour of the Gila, Redlands
Classic, Sea Otter Classic, and Masters National Championships.
